Steps to Salvation

​

The truth is that you can do nothing to earn eternal life. The key that will unlock the door of salvation for you and for anyone else is conceptual and spiritual. In simple terms you need to understand some things in your mind and then to accept with your heart. So if you are interested in learning pay attention to the following truths unfold in front of you and pray to God to help you to understand and accept. Only this will ensure the salvation of your soul. So too do the next steps are in the gospel of John.

Step 1:  Recognize that God loves you and wants to save you.

​

"For so loved God the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, lest lost everyone who believes in him, but have everlasting life." - John 3:16

 

"And this is eternal life, to know thee the only true God, and whom he sent forth, Jesus Christ." - John 17: 3

 

Step 2:   Admit that you need help.

 

"And this is the judgment, that the light came into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light; for the reason that their works were evil." - John 3:19

"I told you, then, that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am he, you will die in your sins." - John 8:24

​

"Whoever believes in him is not judged; he who, however, does not believe has been judged already, because they believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." - John 3:18

​

Step 3: Believe that Jesus Christ is the only savior.

 

"The next day John saw Jesus coming towards him and says, Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world."  - John 1:29

​

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me;" - John 14: 6

​

"Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever But disobey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."  - John 3:36

​

Step 4:  Accept Jesus Christ your savior.

​

"But as many as received him, to them he gave power to become children of God, to them that believe on his name;"  - John 1:12

​

"As I told you, my sheep hear my voice, and I know them: and they follow. 28 And I give to them eternal life; and they will not perish, and no one would grab my hand. " - John 10: 27-28

 

"I assure you absolutely that he who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned, but has already gone from death to life."  - John 5:24

Step 5:   Recognize Jesus Christ as your Lord and God, and as your friend.

 

"You are my friends if you do what I bespeak you." - John 15:14

​

"And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God." - John 20:28

​

If you understand and feel your guilt before the Holy God ask him to forgive you for your infidelity, to cleanse you of your sins, and give you the Holy Spirit which will regenerate you will seal your eternal life.

Now based on your faith in Jesus Christ became a child of God. Look not forget to thank him every day for the salvation he gave you. Be baptized and confess faith in Jesus Christ publicly. To worship in a church where the highest authority is God's Word, the Bible, and not the people's traditions. Also, do not forget to read the Bible to know your Savior and understand what the purpose of your life.
